Yuma River Tours has always strived to cultivate a love for the beauty and history of the Colorado River. It is for this reason that a special, discounted package is available for children's educational field trips. Captain Ron has taken more than 10,000 children on this trip over the years! In addition to stopping at the Watchman's Cabin from the 1800's and participating in educational activities at the Mayflower Mine, we also arrange for a Picacho State Park Ranger to lead the children on a nature walk. Students wear life vests and are instructed in water safety. Trips are tailored to suit the particular needs of the group.
Our most popular package for this Jet Boat trip runs 3-5 hours and costs $27 per person with a 25-passenger minimum. Additional time costs $5 per hour per person. Students provide their own sack lunches. Tour departs from Fisher's Landing at Martinez Lake.
